The Philippines Naturopathic Society, Inc. (PNSI) invites the general public to participate in the forthcoming convention on November 8, 2013 (Fri.) at the Badjao Hall, Century Park Hotel, 599 P. Ocampo St., Malate, Manila, Phils. A health and wellness event with a theme "Naturopathy: Healing the Natural Way" deems to be a fitting convention to bring together local and foreign Naturopathic practitioners.

Expected to grace the occasion are the ff: Hon. Juan M. Flavier, MD, Manila Mayor Joseph E. Estrada, Hon. Dr. Jovencio F. Ordona, Director Gen. of DOH-PITAHC, German Moreno, Celebrity Health Advocates, Dra. Cecilia A. Lucentales, D.Sc, AM, Chairman-PNSI, Egidio Hermino Lucero, NP, Convention Director and Foreign Delegates Michael W. Smith and Al-Wajer S. Himpon, MD and Fr. Hermogenes Rafal will discuss about the benefits of natural healing.

The event is sponsored by the PNSI with the vision of healing humanity's body weaknesses the natural way. PNSI is manned by well trained natural therapists organized to equip, enhanced and to be proactive, effective and efficient practitioners in the art and science of natural therapeutics.

Leading naturopathic physicians based in Europe and the United States will conduct series of talks/ lectures on preventing degenerative diseases through nutritional therapy.

The timely enactment of RA 8423, otherwise known as the Traditional and Alternative Medicine Act (TAMA) of 1997, paved the way for the creation of the Philippine Institute of Traditional of Alternative Health Care (PITAHC), an institution tasked to help accelerate the development of  healing the natural way.
