SLOWING MAKES YOU FEEL RELAX AND GET THINGS DONE BETTER.. TRY IT.. FOR YOURSELF

Enjoying a Snail’s Pace..
Doing Things Slowly

By: Evelyn T. Du

Slowing down allows you to not only savor your experiences, but also it allows you to fully focus your attention and energy on the task at hand. Moving at a slower place lets you get things done more efficiently, while rushing diminishes the quality of your work and your relationships. Slowing down also lets you be more mindful, deliberate, and fully present.

When we slow down, we are giving ourselves the opportunity to reacquaint ourselves to our natural rhythms. We let go of the “fast forward” stress, and allow our bodies to remain centered and grounded. Slowing down is inherent to fully savoring anything in life. Rushing to take a bath can feel like an uncomfortable dunk in hot water, while taking a slow hot bath can be luxuriant and relaxing. A student cramming for a test will often feel tired and unsure, whereas someone who really absorbs the information will be more confident and relaxed. Cooking, eating, reading, and writing can become pleasurable when done slowly. ! Slowing down lets you become more absorbed in whatever it is you are doing. The food you eat tastes better, and the stories you read become more alive.

Ikaw Pa Rin by: Ted Itoh

Slowing down allows you to disconnect from the frenzied pace buzzing around you so you can begin moving at your own pace. The moments we choose to live in fast forward motion then become a conscious choice rather than an involuntary action. Learning to slow down in our fast-moving world can take practice, but if you slow down long enough to try it, you may surprise yourself with how natural and organic living at this pace can be.

IT'S FUNNY.. LAUGHTER IS REALLY THE BEST MEDICINE..

Just For Laughs... I Want You To Smile...                                      By: Ella Cultura and Dr. Ver M. Garcia

A Filipino applies as a salesman in America:
The boss asks: "Do you have any sales experience?"
The Pinoy says, "Sir, I was a salesman back home in Manila."
Pinoy was accepted, so he gave him the job. "You start tomorrow. I'll come down after we close and see how you will fare pretty well."

His first day on the job was rough, but he got through it. After the store was locked up, the boss came down. "How many sales did you make today?"
Pinoy says: "Sir, just ONE sale."
The boss says, "Just one? No! No! No! You see here our salespeople average  20 or 30 sales a day. If you want to keep your job, you'd better be doing better than just one sale! By the way, how many and how much sales did you make today?"
Pinoys says: " $101, 237. 65"
Boss: "$101, 237. 65? What do you make that big sale? Did I hear it right? One Hundred One Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-Seven and Sixty-Five Dollars? That's amazing! You beat all the salesmen here; even the veterans can make only USD30,000  a day. Fantastic! How did you do it?
Pinoy: "Sir, at first, I sold him a small fishhook.
Then I sold him a medium fishhook.
Then I sold him a large fishhook.
Then I sold him a new fishing rod and some fishing gear.
Then I asked him where he was going fishing, and he said down on the coast, so I told him he would need a boat. So, we went down to the boating department, and I sold him a twin-engine Chris-Craft.

Then he said he didn't think his Honda Civic would pull it, so I took him down to our automotive department and sold him that 4X4 Blazer.
I then asked him where he'll be staying, and since he had no accommodation, I took him to the camping department and sold him one of those new igloos 6 sleepers Camper Tents.

Then the guy said, While we're at it, I should throw in about $100 worth of groceries and two cases of beer."

The boss says: "You're really a great salesman!! A guy came in here to buy a fishhook, then you sold him a boat, a 4X4 truck, and a tent?"
Pinoy "No, Sir, actually he came here to buy TYLENOL for his headache, and I said:
"Well, FISHING is the best way to ease your mind!"

Hahaha hahaha... I can't help but laugh... It's funny.. hehehe. (VerGarciaBlogs)

BE YOURSELF.. LEARNING HOW TO SHIELD YOURSELF WITH SOME NEGATIVE THOUGHTS.. BRINGS PEACE AND LONG LASTING LOVE WITHIN..

Nurture Healthy Boundaries...
By: Evelyn T. Du

You could have strong reactions to things that are happening in your relationships with close friends or family today and this could make you feel sensitive. It may be that because of the level of intimacy in your relationships, whatever is happening near to you may seem as if it is occurring directly to you. Perhaps you can think about re-setting your energetic boundaries today – doing so may help you to be on hand for your loved ones without compromising your own sense of well being.

Should you begin to feel agitated at any time during the day, you might imagine that you are surrounded by a golden shield that is filled with unconditional love. If you can think of this shield as not being solid, but rather permeable, allowing your positive energy to flow but blocking the harmful vibes you receive, you may find it easier to react in a detached but loving way.

Learning how to separate our feelings from those of the people around us lets us react to things in a much healthier and more positive manner. Because of the nature of our most cherished relationships, it is all too easy to let the moods, emotions and reactions of our loved ones negatively affect us.

The Greatest Love of All..

Protecting ourselves while at the same time sending love to others, however, will help us have understanding without letting their moods influence our reactions. By letting your reactions be guided by love you will be much better able to cope with the things that are going in with your loved ones today. (VerGarciaBlogs)

KAILANGAN NGA BANG MAGTIPID AT MAG-IMPOK PARA SA KINABUKASAN?

Pag-usapan Natin

Well, di naman natin sila masisisi.

Ilan sa atin ang may Life or Accident Insurance? Alkansiya? Bangko?

(VerGarciaBlogs)

BE CAREFUL ON WHAT YOU PLANT.. IT WILL DETERMINE WHAT YOU WILL REAP IN THE FUTURE

GREAT EVENT STARTS IF YOU PLANT...

By.. Alan Talens

He just knew he had killed his seed. Everyone else had trees and tall plants, but he had nothing. JUAN didn't say anything to his colleagues, however. He just kept watering and fertilizing the soil - He so wanted the seed to grow. A year finally went by and all the young executives of the company brought their plants to the CEO for inspection. JUAN told his wife that he wasn't going to take an empty pot. But she asked him to be honest about what happened.

JUAN felt sick at his stomach, it was going to be the most embarrassing moment of his life, but he knew his wife was right. He took his empty pot to the boardroom. When JUAN arrived, he was amazed at the variety of plants grown by the other executives. They were beautiful---in all shapes and sizes. JUAN put his empty pot on the floor and many of his colleagues laughed, a few felt sorry for him!

When the CEO arrived, he surveyed the room and greeted his young executives. JUAN just tried to hide in the back. "My, what great plants, trees, and flowers you have grown," said the CEO. "Today one of you will be appointed the next CEO!" All of a sudden, the CEO spotted JUAN at the back of the room with his empty pot. He ordered the financial director to bring him to the front.

JUAN was terrified. He thought, "The CEO knows I'm a failure. Maybe he will have me fired!" When JUAN got to the front, the CEO asked him what had happened to his seed - JUAN told him the story. The CEO asked everyone to sit down except JUAN. He looked at JUAN, and then announced to the young executives, "Behold your next Chief Executive! His name is JUAN!"

JUAN couldn't believe it. JUAN couldn't even grow his seed. How could he be the new CEO the others said? Then the CEO said, "One year ago today, I gave everyone in this room a seed. I told you to take the seed, plant it, water it, and bring it back to me today. But I gave you all boiled seeds; they were dead - it was not possible for them to grow. All of you, except JUAN, have brought me trees and plants and flowers.

When you found that the seed would not grow, you substituted another seed for the one I gave you. JUAN was the only one with the courage and honesty to bring me a pot with my seed in it. Therefore,he is the one who will be the new Chief Executive!"

· If you plant honesty, you will reap trust

· If you plant goodness, you will reap friends

· If you plant humility, you will reap greatness

· If you plant perseverance, you will reap contentment

· If you plant consideration, you will reap perspective

· If you plant hard work, you will reap success

· If you plant forgiveness, you will reap reconciliation

· If you plant faith, you will reap a harvest

So, be careful what you plant now; it will determine what you will reap later. Best Regards, Alan Talens

THE ANGELS BROUGHT ME HERE.. BRINGING FAITH, LOVE AND COMFORT

Tears of Unsatisfied

Poetry By: Michael Vallejos Zacarias

Days have deserted by
and my heart is in ruined;
no one seems to heal
the heartaches i felt inside.
A countless tears stumbled
in the eyes of the broken heart;
yet, it vanished the wound inside.

Several times I hid to cry
but, heart remained unsatisfied.
I often told the shadow behind me;
but when my eyes winked,
suddenly it gone and melted away.
I‘d turned around
and then i saw a shadow
it was my eyes bleeding while crying.

In my lonesome nights
tears constantly revealed;
that seems my life dying.
I looked around in a solemn side
and looked up in a spotted area;
there i saw an angel crying;
there was a mirror
and my assurance reflected there.

I dreamed and walked by the shadow
and it was a face viewed towards me.
I was scared while i looked up him;
but, it was my self-looking up the mirror.
I run as fast as i can;
there, an angel poured
the tears that fell in my eyes.

Satisfaction, wherefore art thou?
Make my tears stop flowing;
so my true- love passion will flicker.
You know my love and care are both infinite;
and the mask of nightfall has been removed;
still, wilt thou leave me unsatisfied?

YOU ARE MY IDOL..MY GUIDING LIGHT, MY INSPIRATION.. AND KNOWING SOMEONE LIKE YOU IS LIKE A FLOWER THAT BLOOMS!!

To My Versatile Idol
By: Michael Vallejos Zacarias

Lonely days are through
the way i met someone like you
heart filled with gladness
rejoices in the middle of loneliness;
oh! How great you are!
Here in my heart you've grown ultimately.
Truly you're my brilliant idol
like an actor and actress playing on screen.
Your capabilities lead me to idolize you.
And whose insight is to inspired
to the loyal admirer of yours.

You’re a guiding star
that brightens my life constantly.
With you, my love has grown;
and made you so dear to me.
Like a blazing rays of sun
amidst the cold dawn break
that kisses my frenzy atmosphere.

Knowing someone like you
is like a flower that blooms;
and grows amidst of nowhere.
Though it fades in solitude
still there's a marked on it;
for it is not an opportunity
but, something to reminisce at all.

I wonder why, i wonder why
in my sleepless nights you are always there.
as airy night kisses and touches me
whispering the thoughts
I'm longing to hear;
an independent song that makes me sing
explaining that you're my idol at all.

yet the world is sometimes unfair to me
you're constantly my idol;
though i covered with multitude of shame
you'll be a ewe-lamb to nurture at all;
not just an idol; but a brilliant
and versatile idol to one and all..

GIVE A GIFT.. SOMETHING THAT LASTS FOREVER

                Smile takes but a moment.. but, it lasts forever..
                    SMILE...  By.. Anonymous

    A smile costs nothing, but it gives much.     It enriches those who give it.     It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.      None is so rich or mighty that he can get along without it, and none is so poor but that he cannot be made richer by it.      A smile creates happiness in the home, promotes good will, and is the cornerstone of friendship.       It can perk up the weary, bring cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and is nature's best antidote for trouble.

     Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is given away.           When people are too tired to give you a smile, give them one of yours.     No one needs a smile so much as he who has none to give. (VerGarciaBlogs)

THE SEED OF SUMMER FALLS..THE MEMORIES UNFOLD

          He Does It On His Way

     By: Michael Vallejos Zacarias

When i awake
My morning filled with emptiness.
The morning star gleamed no more,
The multicolored life became bitter;
As before the wind that comforted me,
It no longer revealed as i exulted
With the melody of life when it through.

The seed of summer fell on the ground,
Never came into bud when spring began;
Mellifluous caress have gone away
When I drive every mile i took
.
Sounds of profound music
Never been recalled;
Its thoughts and melodies delighted no more,
Waiting for the rhythm
Someday it will turn again.
The sun’s ray never been grazed the ocean,
And never been bequeath dusk
Behind the trees i rest;
Now it shift and becomes stern
Like the surf of ocean that pushes me down.

I continually wanted existence so dazzling;
While anticipated someone to unseal the

colors that fade away.

All bittersweet nostalgia I’ve been recalled,
Like the seeds that start to swell with leaves;
Delighted as rain falling with chilly drops,
All was a test to cross,
But, when he does it on his way
My life becomes happy ever after.
