THE ANGELS BROUGHT ME HERE.. BRINGING FAITH, LOVE AND COMFORT

Tears of Unsatisfied

Poetry By: Michael Vallejos Zacarias

Days have deserted by
and my heart is in ruined;
no one seems to heal
the heartaches i felt inside.
A countless tears stumbled
in the eyes of the broken heart;
yet, it vanished the wound inside.

Several times I hid to cry
but, heart remained unsatisfied.
I often told the shadow behind me;
but when my eyes winked,
suddenly it gone and melted away.
I‘d turned around
and then i saw a shadow
it was my eyes bleeding while crying.

In my lonesome nights
tears constantly revealed;
that seems my life dying.
I looked around in a solemn side
and looked up in a spotted area;
there i saw an angel crying;
there was a mirror
and my assurance reflected there.

I dreamed and walked by the shadow
and it was a face viewed towards me.
I was scared while i looked up him;
but, it was my self-looking up the mirror.
I run as fast as i can;
there, an angel poured
the tears that fell in my eyes.

Satisfaction, wherefore art thou?
Make my tears stop flowing;
so my true- love passion will flicker.
You know my love and care are both infinite;
and the mask of nightfall has been removed;
still, wilt thou leave me unsatisfied?

By Teddy Cho

Cameron Hills Is A Place For Adventures.. Wherein Green Grass Sways Towards The Western Culture

At Cameron Hills
By: Michael Vallejos Zacarias

Oh! Cameron Hills full of enchantment
Thy green grass dances as air blows towards the west;
Sky above thy fields filled with fowls
singing with melodious tone with the trees as it swings.

Thy sturdy trees filled with different voices of creatures
as the season began to change;
the fowls that flew above the cheerful tress
Brought happiness to the weary hearts.

Wonderful creatures like fowls
Inspired the two strangers as accidentally-
Met at the center of Cameron Hills;
Crave to have passion in each weary heart.
Oh! Cameron Hills- thy green grass grows
Where love of stranger kept my hidden affections;
Thy bountiful hills delighted as the season changed,
Thy blessed creature cheers as i walked along the way.

Oh! Cameron hills-
My dreamland- hail constantly!
For the stranger I've met inspired my heart eternally;
Thy enchanted place that overlooks the waving sea
Reminisces the mind in ruined- caressed with sweet memories.

Oh! Cameron Hills-
Is such a place for adventures;
Where emotions inside filled with joy-
Thy sweet and fresh air may bring cheers to the weary heart;
May you live till the end where am waiting for the stranger
Am longed to be with till death send me beyond.

The Best Thing That You Cherish Is Recognizing The Innermost Beauty Of A Person

The Man with Great Heart
 (This piece is dedicated to my cousin named Virgel Domingo Zacarias.)
 By Michael V. Zacarias

“The best thing to cherish is that you recognize the innermost beauty of a person; whether it is great or small- the more what he or she possessed inside the more it replicates the vastness of the physical facets that he or she endures.”-

In life, I have been blissful upon knowing that t
here’s still a person who truly appreciates the way I do. It is wonderful to cherish each day when you wake up because someone has waking on you and keeps you smile and telling you that you are lovely deep inside. When you have uncertainties then, someone is at your side, telling and guiding you to live each day with happiness in spite of circumstances so it would become more meaningful. Yet, you can affectionately call not just a good friend but, a true friend of yours. Maybe, a good friend is just good enough when he needs you but a true friend, no matter who you are and no matter what you are he or she is always there for you to have and to hold no matter what life brings you.

“Masungit”, whom I fondly called, is a true friend of mine. The first time we’ve met, I’ve felt anxious because he looks like a tiger, I mean seems like a strict person. That’s why he was christened as “Masungit”. But for sure, when you know this guy you would perhaps say he is certainly witty and gregarious. Blunt but educated. In him, I permanently see my strength for he’s a live wire to me. Whenever blackouts come, he never stops giving lights to the hazy sides of my life.
The moments we have had, I can undoubtedly reminisce how we were glad. He’s my ear each time I need someone to heed the songs of my life. Then, he can suddenly make good tunes out of it and even sings with sweet melodies when tears start dwindling on my cheeks.

Whenever my world is gloomy, Masungit shares his dazzling eyes. He sees ahead of me and telling me that everything’s going to be alright for his eyes looking onward to save myself from any harm we might encounter as we go along the road to fulfilling the dreams we were dreamt.

Whenever the road is bristly and my feet start to be enfeebled, he has his feet to take my steps. He never allows me to walk uncomfortably in going to the place where I should be. When I’m weak, he carries me with his steps without qualms so I can reach my journey free from disturbances and even to the very time I’ve got home he never leaves in an instant as he knows when am not yet safe. And whenever my hand is frail, he has his hand to bring and grasp.

Whenever my mind is congested, he is the one who shares wonderful thoughts so whatever it takes I will never be left behind. With him, I had never met such competition for both of us upholding a balanced atmosphere both innermost and outermost sides of our very lives.

Masungit has always raising good temperament. He’s one of the persons who show sincerity and fidelity towards me. Even when anxiety seems to flinch he constantly came first before it takes place. In the battlefield of my very existence, he’s then a hero, a brave man who safeguards me before he has to fight against the battle. He is then a super man on his own and for me as well. He only fights for what is right to be fighting for. And when he sees bad things from me, he does not tolerate but help me seeing things how to refrain from it.

Masungit knows better than me. This is what I keep insisted on him. When he asked why, I had just smiled and he easily able to delineate things that I am not expecting he could response that way. That’s how intelligent he is. But, one thing I know for sure, he is fairly unpretentious and compassionate enough. This great man on his own is persistent in all his endeavors in life. He is quite brave to face whatever complications he might encounter in life. And remains firmed in all his decisions in life. For me, he is constantly a living hero, a guidance counselor and a great teacher.

REMINISCING OUR HAPPIEST DAYS.. WHEN WE WERE KIDS IN SOLITUDE..

Quiescent Dreams
By: Michael V. Zacarias

When we’re little kids
We used to play hide and seek;
We even chanted with our angelic voices
Laughed and cried even for a little while.

When we’re at teens
We’re used to stop playing games;
Instead, beholding each other in such inaudible fancy places
Pondering thoughts the way we were kids.

When we grew independently
Views of life altered accordingly;
Seasons swiftly unfolds the bosom
As we’re both suddenly fallen in love?

Barely we’re unspoken
With the hidden thoughts we’ve had;
Can this be love?
That appeared beyond mysteries?

Undeniably, we’re fallen in love
Its obscurities unfolded with gladness;
Would it be a dreamlike?
When someone discerns?

The dreams we dreamt
Were resembling candles blown by the wind;
Swiftly its mystic turned into gray
Will it be still delighted and fulfilled?

Yesterday, we’ve might afraid to grasp
But, this day ahead together we wrestle;
So tomorrow this quiescent dreams be fulfilling
And so we’ll live with contented hearts.

Afar those sweet imaginings
Were fulfilled dreams of yesteryears;
Like a hovering eagles up in the sky
Glare for its fledgling as started to fly.

Sometimes, life has been differing
But dreams were still fulfilling;
Those quiescent dreams stood buzzing
As each other’s hands were upholding.

SEN. TRILLANES DEPENDS HIS SIDE ON MEASURES CUTTING THE RETIREMENT BENEFITS OF POLICE AND MILITARY PERSONNEL

Trillanes blasts black propaganda issues on anti-military and  police measures

Re electionist Sen. Antonio “Sonny” Trillanes IV denounced anew the circulation of a black propaganda tagging him as one of the key sponsors of a bill that would substantially cut back the retirement benefits of police and military personnel, this time not just in text message s but through flyers being distributed in military and police camps.

The alleged “PNP/AFP Retirement Bill” would remove several benefits that military and police personnel will receive upon reaching the mandatory age for retirement, but Trillanes said that there was no such bill pending in the Senate.

“These desperate political enemies are continuously spreading this black propaganda to taint my reputation and undo the efforts which I have done to uplift the condition of our military and police personnel. For the record, there is no such bill filed in the legislative index of the Senate or would I have advocated for such bill,” Trillanes said.

According to Trillanes, he has always been supportive of the causes to uplift the plight of the men and women in uniform being a former member of the Philippine Navy with the rank of lieutenant senior grade. He was one of the authors of the new Salary Standardization Law which upgraded the salaries of our military and police personnel and all government employees, and the Military Service Board Law which was created to process pending claims of war veterans.

Recently, the new AFP Modernization Law, which Trillanes authored, was signed into law to extend the AFP Modernization Program for another 15 years and help the armed forces improve their capabilities in dealing with internal and external threats.

“Through the years, I have worked toward the uplifting of the lives of our military and police personnel by introducing bills which I hope would have tremendous impact on their professional and economic lives.” He added.

Among the other measures he has put forward in the Senate for the AFP/PNP welfare benefits are:

·                  Senate Bill No. 204 to increase the quarters allowance of AFP personnel to P5,000 for enlisted personnel, and P10,000 to P15,000 for officers;

·                  Senate Joint Resolution 5 to increase the subsistence allowance from P90 to P150 per day for AFP personnel;

·                  Senate Joint Resolution 8 to increase the combat duty pay of PA and PMAR troops to 25 per cent of their base pay;

·                  AFP Insurance Coverage Act to grant additional P250,000 death and disability benefits, and P100,000 medical assistance to members killed/injured in line of duty;

·                  Senate Bill No. 205 to provide payment of the arrears in the veterans’ pensions and benefits;

·                  Senate Bill No. 393 to increase the combat duty pay of PNP combat personnel to 25 per cent of their base pay;

·                  Senate Bill No. 197 to increase quarters allowance of PNP personnel; and

·                  PNP Insurance Coverage Act to grant additional P250,000 death disability benefits, and P100,000 medical assistance to members killed/injured in line of duty.

Trillanes played an important role in exposing various corrupt practices within the military organization. He appealed to voters to remain vigilant against the black propaganda that come their way and be discerning in choosing their candidates. # (VerGarciaBlogs)
