The hospital modernization projects for Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC), Bicol Medical Center (BMC) and Cotabato Regional Medical Center (CRMC) are all aimed at increasing bed capacity by upgrading current hospital facilities. The acquisition of high technoloy and state of the art medical equipment has already commenced as a parallel project to ensure provision and availability of quality hospital care services for its growing number of patients.

Modernization Project of the Department of Health - Project Profiles
Cotabato Regional and Medical Center (Mindanao)
Cagayan Valley Medical  Center (Northern Luzon)
                                            Bicol Medical Center (Southern Luzon)

The modernization project, will result to additional 1,000 combined beds for CVMC, BMC, and CRMC.
Aside from CVMC (Northern Luzon), BMC (Southern Luzon) and CRMC (Mindanao) other DOH hospitals are also lined up for similar modernization projects in the coming years with the end objective of improving hospital  facilities to address the health needs of the entire nation.

The upgrading of these hospitals compliments the current improvement of rural health units 3,074 and barangay health stations 16,038 which are the current implementers of the current primary care program of the Department of Health. The presence of these regional medical centers will ably serve as the end referral centers for the rural health units and the barangay health stations. The modernization of these hospitals will provide quality health care in the provinces comparable to modern medical centers in urban areas. (VerGarciaBlogs)

THE REFLECTIONS OF ONE'S SELF EXPRESS LOVE AND BEHAVIOUR OF ONE ANOTHER..

Reflections of Self We Are All Mirrors for Each Other
By: Evelyn T. Du

People you feel drawn to reflect your inner self back at you, and you act as a mirror for them as well.

When we look at other people, we see many of their qualities in innumerable and seemingly random combinations. However, the qualities that we see in the people around us are directly related to the traits that exist in us. “Like attracts like” is one of the spiritual laws of the universe. We attract individuals into our lives that mirror who we are. Those you feel drawn to reflect your inner self back at you, and you act as a mirror for them. Simply put, when you look at others, you will likely see what exists in you. When you see beauty, divinity, sweetness, or light in the soul of another, you are seeing the goodness that resides in your soul. When you see traits in others that evoke feelings of anger, annoyance, or hatred, you may be seeing reflected back at you those parts of yourself that you have disowned or do not like.

Because we are all mirrors for each other, looking at the people in your life can tell you a lot about yourself. Who you are can be laid bare to you through what you see in others. It is easy to see the traits you do not like in others. It is much more difficult to realize that you possess those same traits. Often, the habits, attitudes, and behaviors of others are closely linked to our unconscious and unresolved issues.

When you come into contact with someone you admire, search your soul for similarly admirable traits. Likewise, when you meet someone exhibiting traits that you dislike, accept that you are looking at your reflection. Looking at yourself through your perception of others can be a humbling and eye-opening experience. You can also cultivate in you the traits and behaviors that you do like. Be loving and respectful to all people, and you will attract individuals that will love and respect you back. Nurture compassion and empathy and let the goodness you see in others be your mirror.

LEARNING TO LOVE YOURSELF.. IS THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL..

Being Alone A Relationship with Self
By: Evelyn T. Du

By allowing ourselves to be comfortable with being alone, we can become the people with whom we want to have a relationship.

The most important relationship we have in our lives is with our selves. And even though we are the only ones who are present at every moment of our lives—from birth onward—this relationship can be the most difficult one to cultivate. This may be because society places such emphasis on the importance of being in a romantic partnership, even teaching us to set aside our own needs for the needs of another. Until we know ourselves, however, we cannot possibly choose the right relationship to support our mutual growth toward our highest potential. By allowing ourselves to be comfortable with being alone, we can become the people with whom we want to have a relationship.

Perhaps at no other time in history has it been possible for people to survive, and even thrive, while living alone. We can now support ourselves financially, socially, and emotionally without needing a spouse for survival in any of these realms. With this freedom, we can pursue our own interests and create fulfilling partnerships with friends, business partners, creative cohorts, and neighbors. Once we’ve satisfied our needs and created our support system, a mate then becomes someone with whom we can share the bounty of all we’ve created and the beauty we’ve discovered within ourselves.

As we move away from tradition and fall into more natural cycles of being in the world today, we may find that there are times where being alone nourishes us and other periods in which a partnership is best for our growth. We may need to learn to create spaces to be alone within relationships. When we can shift our expectations of our relationships with ourselves and others to opportunities for discovery, we open ourselves to forge new paths and encounter uncharted territory. Being willing to know and love ourselves, and to find what truly makes us feel deeply and strongly, gives us the advantage of being able to attract and choose the right people with whom to share ourselves, whether those relationships fall into recognizable roles or not. Choosing to enjoy being alone allows us to fully explore our most important relationship—the one with our true selves. (VerGarciaBlogs)

So That The Public May Know..

!~. Presently, stem cell therapy has been proven beneficial in very few medical conditions:
in Cancers of the blood, and bone marrow, some primary immune-deficiencies treated by    autologous or allogenic stem cell transplants.

2. The effectiveness and safety have yet to be proven in the following conditions: heart. lung, neurologic, skin, rheumatologic, kidney and gastro intestinal diseases, diabetes milletus, hypertension, autism, cancer, aging and aesthetics, HIV AIDS and other conditions.

3. The use of stem cell therapy for these conditions should be confined to clinical studies,  that is, properly designed studies that have been screened and approved by a duly constituted technical review board and ethics committee. Such studies should in fact be encouraged so that the potential benefits of stem cell therapy in these conditions can be documented.

4. Finally, we recognized and support the Rep. Act (RA) No. 3720 as amended by RA No. 9711, which mandates the FDA.. to conduct the appropriate tests on all applicable health products prior to the issuance of appropriate authorizations to ensure safety, efficacy, purity and quality (Section 4h) ; and "to develop and issue standards and appropriate authorizations that would cover establishments, facilities, and health products" (Section 4m).

As a public service.. Please report immediately to the FDA any of the following:

1. Practice of stem cell therapy by persons or institutions not accredited by the FDA.
2. Promtion and use of stem cell therapy for unproven indications (as listed in the PCP position paper) and
