A VIVID UNDERSTANDING ON HOW TO CREATE AN EFFECTIVE ARTICLE OR STORY

HOW TO WRITE AN ARTICLE
Researched by: Speech Club International
Bahay Kubo or Nipa Hut symbolizes typical Filipino ingenuity.. a culture traces back before the Spaniards came in the Philippines. Nipa huts were the native houses of the Filipinos before the Spaniards came. They were designed to endure the climate and it was made from plant materials like bamboo and coconut trees. (Original Photo by: VG)

An effective article should incorporate a concise and simple style of writing to convey the subject matter clearly to the reader. It is one that creates a vivid impression and explains the message in easy to understand language. It also entails use of correct grammar and appropriate tenses. One should avoid use of unclear vocabulary and long sentences that might confuse the reader.

A good article mainly employs the active voice to give the text a sense of urgency and excitement.. The active voice also creates engaging content that tends to have a conversational tone. It reveals the writer as informed and an authority on the subject. Due to the relative length of the story, this kind of treatment should have the power and quality to grip the mind of the reader to the very last line. Its ease tends to point to the reader.. that what, they are reading is reliable and well researched and hence educational.

A comprehensive article is one that uses a minimal number of paragraphs depending on its overall length. This means that the theme being treated should be divided into several paragraphs that relate to the whole. A good paragraph should be based on a thematic and topical approach to the main topic. Each paragraph should be a development of an idea in a logical stream that the reader can be able to follow easily. To achieve effect, it deals with one idea at a time.

One should also use a relevant title that reflects in one short phrase the whole meaning of the story. It acts as a lead to the topic. For a title to be an effective summation or description of an article.. It must contain a keyword that is used inside the story most often. This enables the reader to keep revisiting the topic as they make out the story as it develops. A good article uses the last paragraph as a summary. It creates a vivid understanding to what one has just read in the preceding sentences. (VerGarciaBlogs)

CMB Chiba, one of Japan’s oldest language training institutions (70 years), opens program in Manila Chiba Mode Business (CMB) Nihonggo School, one of Japan’s leading and oldest Japanese language training institutions, has decided to partner with a Richwell Training Center Services, Inc., a TESDA-accredited training center, to offer to Filipinos its unique and specialized, “Learn Japanese, Work in Japan” Training Program.

“After the student has become Japanese proficient, he or she may stay in Japan by enrolling in an international business course, also at CMB Chiba, and working part-time with a study-work ratio of 20:28 hours per week. The final phase of the program is the Growth Ship internship, where the student will work full-time in a Japanese company to be facilitated by Growth Ship Co., Ltd., a human resource development company which is also our partner and a sister-company of CMB Chiba,” she added.

“Learn Japanese, Work in Japan Training Program” is a tuition-fee based study-work program that involves an investment in a career for future growth. However, whatever cost it will take to participate in the program will be offset by the myriads of benefits and opportunities that a foreign language student-cum-worker will enjoy while in Japan, which offer Courses from level N1 to level N5.

“The short-term benefits will be economic and cultural adjustment , and the long-term reward will be a better future for the student and his family. THE PHILIPPINES HEALTH DEPARTMENT ENCOURAGES ORGAN DONATION TO SAVE LIVES

DOH PUSHES FOR ORGAN DONATION FROM BRAIN DEAD PERSONS

The Department of Health (DOH) is encouraging families to consider organ donation of deceased relatives, including those who have been declared legally and medically brain dead, to help others in need of transplantation.
With the passage of Republic Act No. 7170, otherwise known as the Organ Donation Act of 1991, as amended by Republic Act No. 7885, organ and tissue donations from donors who have been declared brain dead has been allowed.
Human transplantable organs include the kidneys, liver, lungs, heart, intestines, and pancreas, in addition to human tissues such as eye tissues (corneas, sclera, etc.), bones, skin, and blood vessels.
Through organ donation, one deceased human being can potentially save and dramatically improve the quality of life of eight or more individuals,” Health Secretary Francisco Duque said.
The DOH also discourages incentivized organ donations, where living organ donors not related to the recipient are motivated by financial rewards. This system creates a risk for both the donor and the recipient, exposing them to further injury.

World Health Organization (WHO) data from 2017 show that deaths caused by various end-stage organ diseases involved up to 230,000 Filipinos This may have been prevented by organ transplantation. Unfortunately, organ donation from brain dead patients remains dismally low in the Philippines.
To heighten Filipino consciousness on the benefits of organ sharing, a presidential proclamation is being proposed to be issued designating the month of September of every year as “National Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Month.” With the campaign slogan Dugtong Buhay:  Ako, Kabahagi Mo!” the program underscores the Filipono spirit of bayanihan where those extending help do not expect anything in return.
The DOH, through the Philippine Organ Donation and Transplantation Program and the Philippine Network for Organ Sharing, continues to sustain advocacy and educational campaigns on deceased organ donation.
“The DOH recognizes the noble and altruistic act of saving a life through committing one’s organs or tissues upon one’s death. This can be done by signing up as organ donor cardholders and providing consent to organ donation. Indeed, organ donors are heroes of our times,” the Secretary of Health concluded. (VerGarciaBlogs)
